Project Architect
About the Role:
Our client is a forward-thinking architecture and design studio recognized for its intelligent, collaborative approach and diverse project portfolio. They are seeking a Project Architect with approximately 5–12 years of experience to join their growing San Francisco studio. In this role, you will lead projects from design development through construction, working closely with clients, consultants, and a talented internal team. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical development, coordination, and documentation of projects from design through construction.
- Collaborate with design teams to translate conceptual ideas into buildable, high-quality solutions.
- Manage consultant coordination, schedules, and project deliverables.
- Serve as a primary client contact throughout project phases.
- Oversee construction administration, ensuring design intent and quality standards are met.
- Mentor junior architects and designers, supporting professional growth within the team.
- Contribute to studio standards, QA processes, and best practices.
Key Skills/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program
- 5–12 years of professional experience in architecture
- Licensure or active path to licensure preferred
- Strong proficiency in Revit and coordination of technical documentation
- Experience across commercial, education, or civic sectors preferred
- Solid understanding of building codes, detailing, and construction processes
- Proven ability to lead projects, manage teams, and communicate effectively with clients
- Passion for thoughtful, sustainable, and enduring design
