The Role:

A high-profile architecture and design practice in Clerkenwell is looking for a Receptionist to manage their front of house.

The receptionist is responsible for meeting and greeting visitors, answering and directing phone calls and the management of several meeting rooms. The role may suit someone out of university looking for their first job, who will enjoy being a central person in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Keeping the reception area clean and tidy
  • Answering and transferring phone calls
  • Meeting and Greeting visitors
  • Dealing with Incoming and Outgoing post and franking
  • Booking and organising meeting rooms
  • Providing refreshments for guests and meetings
  • Ordering lunches for meetings
  • Monitoring/clearing the coffee machine
  • Ordering Friday drinks and managing staff breakfasts
  • Ordering stationery
  • Managing the general company in-box and forwarding emails appropriately
  • Signing of deliveries and distributing parcels as appropriate
  • Organising couriers
  • Photocopying documents for meetings
  • Preparing and logging expenses for senior employees
  • Logging staff absences
  • Ad hoc administrative tasks

Key Skills :

  • Excellent communication skills and spoken English
  • Great customer service skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn, be flexible and assist in short notice requests.
