1st Line IT Support

The Role:

We are working with an international creative studio that specialises in ground-breaking design projects worldwide and is now seeking experienced 1st Line IT support to join their dynamic team.

In this role, you will be expected to be hands-on while supporting the wider IT team ensuring the smooth day-to-day activities of the studio. The ideal candidate must have solid IT support knowledge and preferably an interest in design and architecture.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage small to medium size projects as required by the Head of Digital Systems and the Digital Support Manager
  • Manage all laptops, desktop devices and hardware in the studio
  • Ensure meeting rooms, AV equipment, printers and plotters are maintained in order
  • Ensure the user-side cable management is always in order
  • Ensuring the cataloguing of hardware and software inventories is up to date
  • Collaborate with the Digital System Operation team to maximise digital service
  • Diagnose and resolve 1st line technical issues while managing software deployment
  • Cooperate with software and hardware vendors while addressing warranty repairs
  • Manage to onboard and leaving process from start to finish
  • Ensure new starters have hardware and software set up and ready to start
  • Escalate any major issue to the Digital Support Manager

Key Skills:

  • 3+ years of On-Site Desktop/Client-Side Support in a fast-paced environment with solid experience in software and hardware problem resolution
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic network principles, with desirable knowledge support of Architectural software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on follow-up on tasks
  • Excellent organisation, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work on tight deadlines and maintain calm under pressure while able to prioritise tasks
  • Ability to work flexible hours, on-site and remotely
