Senior Architect/Lab Planner

The Role:

Continually expanding their innovative science and technology design team, our central London, internationally renowned architecture practice is opening their doors and looking for a passionate Senior Architect / Lab Planner who has vast prior experience working life science projects from planning to technical delivery.

Working closely with scientists, top universities and governmental UK and international companies as well as talented Regional Architects, you will be leading projects from early design stages, client meetings and user briefings to collaborating with the wider architectural team when realising these forward-thinking ideas throughout all RIBA stages in Revit. Key Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Regional Principle and working directly with scientists, experienced Senior Lab Planners and the wider architectural team
• Lead design processes throughout all RIBA stages
• Provide advanced technical expertise on laboratory planning from previous exposure to such projects including leadership in the areas of programming, fit out, planning, coordinating with MEP syste
• Liaise with with structural engineers and produce construction drawings and administration
• Be responsible for the continual progression of existing and potential clients when participating in marketing and business development opportunities
• Lead and collaborate with the wider architectural team to realise early detailed user layouts to developing later concepts throughout Revit

  Key Skills:

• ARB qualification in Architecture is essential
• Experience working on laboratory projects from planning to technical delivery
• Previous experience and passion within the sector are necessary
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential
• Revit, BIM and NewForma preferred
