Senior Architect (Commercial)

About The Role:

A sought-after international design studio are looking for a Senior Architect with strong commercial experience to join their team.

You will be an integral part of the team and support and manage design and delivery through all RIBA stages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop creative and innovative design ideas
• Contribute to technical design reviews
• Drawing package development and management: Lead the creation of design drawings and documents
• Excellent knowledge of all work stages and level of detail required for each RIBA stage
• Work within a multi discipline environment leading and assisting with coordination and clash management for projects
• Assist Designers and Architects in reviewing construction work on site

Key Skills/Requirements:

• A degree and master’s in architecture
• ARB Registered or overseas equivalent
• 8+ years’ experience
• Excellent Revit experience (minimum 5 years) with technical focus abilities
• Excellent design and technical detailing skills
• Experience leading commercial projects in UK through delivery stages
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate a team
• Client management skills
• Working knowledge of Building Regulations
