Procurement Specialist (Interior Design)

With a reputation for excellence, this firm continues to push the boundaries of high-end design and is now looking to expand its procurement team with the addition of a Procurement Specialist in their NYC office.
The ideal candidate will be a highly organized and proactive professional with strong FF&E procurement experience in the interior design industry. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow within a dynamic, fast-paced studio, taking ownership of the full procurement process – from sourcing and purchasing to vendor negotiations while ensuring seamless project execution. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, as you’ll work closely with internal teams, vendors, and clients to keep projects running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
· Manage the full FF&E procurement process, from sourcing and vendor negotiations to delivery and installation.
· Develop and maintain itemized FF&E budgets, tracking production timelines, shipping schedules, and associated costs.
· Collaborate closely with the design team, accounting team, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution and maintain strong relationships.
· Supervise the Procurement Assistant and ensure efficient task management to develop and grow in-house procurement team.
· Communicate regularly with clients to provide budget updates, proposals, and status reports.
Key Skills/Requirements:
· Strong FF&E procurement experience in interior design or adjacent industries.
· Proven track record in sourcing and negotiating with high-end vendors and distributors.
· Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
· Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
· Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results
