Part II Architectural Assistant

The Role:

A multifaceted, international design studio is looking for an experienced Part II to join their Birmingham office. The role will involve working closely in a team, to create outstanding architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and propose design measures to comply with building regulations and technical constraints
  • Review and assist in the planning of design work on packages in accordance with the project timeline
  • Carry out research and development on project
  • Prepare and present options on internal design reviews
  • Innovatively presenting your own/the team’s concept designs to wider company teams
  • Attend design meetings, note and minute taking
  • Work alongside senior members of the team to deliver outstanding design
  • Deliver packages, design stages at a fast pace and in line with submission deadlines

Key Skills:

  • Previous experience on residential projects on all RIBA stages
  • Previous experience delivering technical packages
  • Proficiency in Revit (essential)
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
