HR Officer/Assistant

The Role:

A large, established global design studio are looking for HR Officer for a 12-month contract (with the potential to become permanent) to start ASAP. This role will support the wider HR and Finance team across their UK, APAC and EMEA operations.

This role requires two plus years’ experience in a similar role supporting a HR and payroll function and knowledge of HR best practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the HR database
  • Onboarding starters and processing leavers
  • Support any system and process implementations
  • Provide monthly management information and data reporting requests
  • Support HR and the wider team with any HR related questions and queries
  • Support the team in developing HR and best practices employee initiatives
  • Support the HR team with salary reviews, succession planning, research, benchmarking, and any performance management
  • Input monthly payroll information ready for submission to the company’s outsourced payroll company
  • Provide support with day-to-day questions and any ad-hoc requests

Key Skills:

  • Previous exposure and knowledge of payroll
  • Experience in a similar role within HR
  • Adaptable, proactive and able to work in high-pressure environments
  • Commercially aware with a keen eye for detail
  • Able to prioritise and work to deadlines
  • Good decision maker
