Architect/Part II

The Role:

With a portfolio of atmospheric architectural and interior design projects, this international boutique studio is looking for a motivated Architect/Part II to join its team in west London. The studio is known for its curated approach towards custom fit detailing and pride themselves on their holistic designs in the residential, educational, retail and community sectors.

The ideal candidate would be an ambitious and resourceful individual who is passionate about bespoke, high-end residential projects. Ideally a great communicator, you would be responsible for managing a variety of projects from concept to completion under the guidance of the design team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate design ideas confidently to clients, suppliers and the design team
• Maintain the daily smooth running of projects within a team
• Work closely with project architect to produce tender sets
• Offer design solutions and exploring them through drawing and CAD modelling
• Display strong understanding and experience of all RIBA work stages and the UK planning, building and construction standards

Key Skills:

• Architect or Part II Architectural Designer with 2+ years professional experience
• Proficient in Vectorworks 2D and3D, AutoCAD, Creative Suite and Microsoft Excel
• Solid understanding in detailing and construction knowledge is preferable
• Confident meeting numerous deadlines on projects with excellent time management
• Great interpersonal skills
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English
• Personal, collaborative, and friendly in your approach
