Architect (Revit + Housing)

About The Role:

We are working with a well-established, diverse and sustainable architecture studio that are looking for an Architect to join their thriving office in London.

Within this role, you will demonstrate your solid experience through the latter technical and construction stages and have strong knowledge of UK building regulations and planning processes. The ideal candidate will ideally have at least three years of experience working on London-based, design-led, housing schemes and/or mixed-use projects with strong proficiency in Revit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to design-led housing projects, ensuring innovative, high-quality design solutions that align with the project’s vision and client expectations
  • Produce and manage detailed design drawings and technical documentation using Revit, ensuring accuracy and adherence to BIM standards
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of planning applications, ensuring compliance with UK planning regulations and effectively navigating the planning process
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders, to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Manage projects through all RIBA stages, balancing creative design with practical delivery, budget constraints, and timelines
  • Contribute to the production of technical packages as well as detailing packages

Key Skills/Requirements:

  • A degree within architecture or a relevant degree
  • Strong proficiency in Revit
  • 3+ years’ experience of working on design-led schemes in London post Part III is desirable
  • Exposure to London-based housing/large residential projects and/or mixed-use schemes
  • Demonstrable experience working through technical and construction stages
  • Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and planning processes in the UK
