Architecture & Design Sales Representative

The Role:

This local and design-centric, luxury furniture house is seeking a friendly and self-driven A&D Sales Representative to manage and oversee trade sales for the New York and occasionally, East Coast market. In this role, you’ll develop and manage your own list of distinguished design and architectural clientele while generating sales and providing support throughout that process.

This role also offers healthcare coverage, a hybrid schedule, excellent PTO and the chance to progress in the role as the company expands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and build relationships across the architecture and design industry in NYC
  • Become deeply knowledgeable about the product and provide consultative service to trade clients including VE support
  • Conduct Lunch & Learns and other design presentations to various prospective and current clients
  • Meet quarterly and yearly sales goals
  • Attend local and national industry events

Key Skills:

  • Previous experience in a similar sales role within architecture, design, furniture, textiles or adjacent
  • Highly organized and self-driven
  • Comfortable creating and managing your own schedule
  • Experience with business development and acquiring your own accounts
  • An existing network of design professionals and contacts
  • Strong communicator
  • A genuine interest in the design community
