The Role:

A luxury retail design studio based in London are looking for a talented Architect to become a key player in their team. The role will involve working on large scale luxury, mixed-use projects in Asia, from concept design to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver design stage deliverables including schedules and packages in line with design stages at a fast pace and in line with submission deadlines
  • Work alongside external consultants and contractors to review and respond to technical and design queries
  • Identify and propose design measures to comply with building conducts and regulations
  • Manage and mentor junior designers
  • Review and assist in planning of design work on the package in accordance with the project timeline
  • Carry out research and development on project
  • Prepare and present options on internal design reviews
  • Innovatively presenting your own/the team’s concept designs including preparing information for external design workshops
  • Reporting any risks and observations to senior management
  • Delivering project on time and documenting using time sheets and expenses when required
  • Attend design meetings, note and minute taking

Key Skills:

  • Experience in a similar role, having working on projects in China
  • Advanced in AutoCAD (required)
  • Photoshop, InDesign, MS Word, Outlook, Excel (required)
  • Rhino (proficiency required)
  • BIM experience (preferred)
  • Mandarin speaking (advantageous)
  • Revit (advantageous)
  • Enscape/ Vray (advantageous)
  • To possess a high level of design presentation skills
