Associate Architect

About The Role:

One of London’s most prestigious practices are seeking an Associate Architect with strong ArchiCAD skills to join their team in London. The practice is known for its award-winning international design and fantastic culture.

As the Associate Architect, one of the core focuses will be to assist with the integration of digital design tools within the design process. The ideal candidate will have proven experience delivering design-led projects and will have worked in a top-tier design studio. Expertise in using ArchiCAD at front-end design stages will be crucial for the role when you work on the delivery of projects including commercial, cultural, civic and residential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the integration of digital design with a project team
• Support the team using ArchiCAD, Rhino and Grasshopper
• Collaborate and lead project teams to deliver world class designs up to planning
• Review projects, models and documentation
• Mentor team and lead design reviews
• Lead and develop design solutions
• Take responsibility for all strategic issues and reporting directly to business leaders

Key Skills/Requirements:

• ARB Registered Architect with 10+ years’ experience
• Proven experience working on award winning projects
• Experience delivering large scale architecture schemes
• Expert ArchiCAD knowledge
• Advanced experience in digital software such as Rhino and Grasshopper
• Strong communication skills
• Strong coordination experience and ability to manage multi-disciplinary contractors
• Excellent design/technical knowledge
