Communications and Business Development Manager
The Role:
An established and well-known architecture studio is looking for a meticulous and personable Communications and Business Development Manager to join them at their studio in north London.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement annual marketing and business development strategy and budget
- Manage website, internet and social media channels
- Draft and distribute press releases
- Coordinate production of marketing documents and handle external publications
- Oversee awards submissions
- Cultivate relationships with journalists and industry figures
- Assist directors and senior staff with business development activities
- Chair marketing, communications, and business development meetings and prepare quarterly reports for Executive board meetings
- Arrange project commissions e.g. photography and video
- Conduct inductions for new staff
- Manage memberships with organisations i.e. NLA and Housing Forum
- Support bid team by drafting and proofreading bids, tenders, and submissions
Key Skills:
- Deep expertise in implementing effective marketing and communications strategies
- Proven track record of success in a similar role within the creative industries
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organisational abilities and adept at managing multiple deadlines
- Comprehensive understanding of procurement processes in the construction industry
- Confident in preparing bid documents and navigating bid processes
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
- Familiar with Salesforce or other database platforms
- Capable of taking initiative and thriving in independent work environments
- Ambitious, self-motivated, and highly creative
- Passionate about and well-versed in the architecture sector and its cultural landscape
