Graphics and Communications Coordinator

The Role:

Our client, an award-winning architecture and urban design practice are looking to hire an adaptable and proactive Graphics and Communications Coordinator to join their ambitious team. This is a varied, exciting and hands-on role and would suit someone who has some experience creating high-quality communication materials and an understanding of bids and tenders.

The role is working closely with the New Business and Communications Manager to ensure exceptional graphic and communications output for the practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Using your InDesign experience, create and set up documents for competitions/bids and tenders
  • Attend meetings with senior management in order to maintain and update tender and bid data
  • Support coordination and implementation of social media strategy
  • Source and edit images for website and social media channels
  • Coordinate press requests, press releases, articles and awards submissions
  • Working closely with journalists and the wider PR team on articles and content
  • Proofreading and editing content
  • Support project teams to set up and format project-related presentations and reports
  • Support with the creation of material for events, newsletters and other collateral required for clients
  • Maintaining agency relationships both internally and externally
  • Assisting the wider team with the delivery of ad hoc projects

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in architecture/design/built environment/construction
  • Essential to have previous graphic design experience, in particular using InDesign
  • Great understanding of bids, tenders, competitions
  • Good understanding of PR/press and the media
  • Proactive, assertive, and friendly with a can-do attitude and the ability to work to deadlines
  • Extremely organised with excellent communications skills; both written and verbal
  • A passion for architecture/design/built environment/construction is a bonus
