Communications and Marketing Manager

The Role:

A small design and research studio are looking for a Communications and Marketing Manager to join their dynamic and award-winning team. The successful person will come with at least 3 years’ experience working in a similar role ideally within architecture or the built environment.

In this role you will be an expert in all things PR and communications and will be responsible for; planning and executing events to promote the studio and it’s projects, looking for and managing opportunities for public engagement, and assisting with the production of promotional content and materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare press releases
  • Maintain and keep up to date the studio website
  • Social media – Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter
  • Oversee production of visual material for marketing and PR use
  • Prepare and maintain the practice profile and staff profiles
  • Manage the distribution of e-newsletter
  • Coordinate award submissions
  • Project photography
  • Assist in preparing presentations for public talks, lectures delivered by members of the studio

Key Skills:

  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite
  • Excellent graphic eye and layout skills
  • Copywriting
  • Experience of website management a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • An interest in the built environment
