About The Role:

The Crowd has teamed up with a prestigious, multi award-winning international design practice, renowned worldwide for their innovative and ground-breaking luxury and hospitality projects. This celebrated studio based in Spain are looking for a talented Creative Director who possesses flair and a desire to push creative boundaries!

You would be joining a practice driven by narrative and a commitment to the exploration of ideas where grand visions and bespoke details seamlessly connect. This is a studio fuelled by a passion for design, where every detail is infused with creative energy. The ideal candidate would be an inspirational and motivating leader, either from an interiors or architectural background, who is consistently pushing boundaries and sharing a deep enthusiasm for creating extraordinary designs. You will lead and oversee international and luxury hospitality projects, acting as a pivotal member of the team in conceptualising and delivering state-of-the-art designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and articulate a compelling creative vision for luxury and innovative hospitality projects on an international scale
• Set the overall creative direction, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals and brand identity
• Stay ahead of industry trends, continually exploring new ideas, materials, and technologies to integrate into design solutions
• Challenge conventional design approaches and push boundaries to create unique, bespoke spaces that set new standards across luxury design projects
• Lead the conceptualisation and design process, from initial design development to completion, ensuring high-quality and innovative solutions
• Oversee the development of design concepts, architectural plans, and detailed specifications, ensuring they meet client expectations and project requirements
• Motivate, inspire, and mentor a talented team of designers, fostering a collaborative and dynamic work environment
• Provide constructive feedback and guidance to team members, encouraging professional growth and maintaining a high standard of design excellence
• Communicate the creative vision and project updates effectively, ensuring client satisfaction and alignment with project objectives

Key Skills/Requirements:

• A masters degree within Interiors or Architecture is essential for this role
• 10+ years’ experience working on international luxury projects either through an interiors or architectural background
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Suite is essential for this role
• Ability to use 3D software including Sketchup, Rhino and / or Revit along with 3D rendering software such as Enscape is a plus for the role
• Strong experience within hospitality projects is advantageous
• Strong creative direction at concept and development stages
• Strong verbal and written fluency in English is required, with Spanish being highly beneficial
• Proven skills in leading, mentoring and inspiring a creative team
• A team player with a collaborative and personable nature
• Would suit someone who is eager to grow and develop within a dynamic environment
