Design Architect
About The Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Design Architect with strong business development skills to join a highly successful architecture firm as they expand their presence in Los Angeles. This role is perfect for someone who is not only passionate about design but also eager to contribute to the growth and development of the business.
You will have the opportunity to shape the future of the LA studio, building on the firm’s already established brand and reputation. This hybrid role (3 days in the office, 2 days remote) offers the chance to work on innovative design projects across various sectors while actively driving new business opportunities and client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design process across various project types, from concept to completion
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to support business growth
- Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and external stakeholders
- Contribute to the business development strategy, helping to expand the firm’s presence in the LA market
- Prepare design presentation documents, renderings, and materials
- Lead design reviews and ensure the highest standards of project delivery
Key Skills/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture
- California Architecture License preferred
- 5+ years of professional experience in architecture, with a strong design portfolio
- Proven business development skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Strong design and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for innovation
- Proficiency in Revit and other relevant design software
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage teams and projects
