Facilities Assistant
The Role:
Our client, a highly influential international design practice who have a reputation for ground-breaking, cutting edge projects, are seeking an enthusiastic and efficient Facilities Assistant to join them at their London office.
As a proactive contributor, you will work closely with the facilities department to provide valuable assistance to the Facilities Manager in effectively overseeing the maintenance and operational efficiency of the site. Your dedication to ensuring smooth operations and upholding high standards of maintenance will be instrumental in the organisation’s success. The role would suit someone who is highly organised in task management and prioritisation while also being a quick problem-solver when issues arise.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Facility Manager and perform various ad hoc tasks/projects
- Ensure the office spaces are presentable and tidy
- Order and maintain office supplies
- Conduct health and safety checks and equipment inspections
- Perform manual maintenance jobs and assist with desk bookings
- Support Hospitality and Archive teams
- Assist with meeting room set-ups
- Help with internal moves including IT equipment changes when required
- Coordinate with IT for remote working equipment
- Distribute parcels and packages within the office
Key Skills:
- Previous experience working within customer service is essential
- Proficient in both computer literacy and MS Office specifically Excel
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Highly organised and able to prioritise under pressure
- Proactive and meticulous approach with the ability to take your own initiative
- Fire/first aid/manual handling trained is advantageous
