Finance Manager

The Role:

A rapidly growing luxury lighting and furniture design company is looking for a determined Finance Manager to join their passionate and successful team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaise with leadership to ensure vendor payments and client invoices are accurate and on time
• Oversee payment schedules and payment terms across accounts and partners
• Strategize with leadership on optimizing value of product pricing whilst balancing value to clients and company profitability
• Based on internal analysis and product industry updates, manage any needed pricing updates
• Manage tax needs across filing payments, keep on top of changing regulations, and liaise with external CPA firm on tax filings
• Run strategy for financial budgets focusing on development, action and analysis
• Manage bank reconciliations, credit card statements, receipts, etc.
• Run and manage finance functions for payroll, sales commissions/bonuses, benefits, tax records, etc.
• Create monthly, quarterly and annual finance reports, presenting to leadership

Key Skills:

• Minimum five years’ finance/accounting/bookkeeping experience in lighting, furniture or high end retail
• Ability to translate complex financial information into easy to understand information for leadership
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to manage external partners
• Dedicated work ethic and ability to be flexible on progressing ideas
• Ability to work under pressure and have expert attention to detail
