Finance Manager

About The Role:

We are representing a high-end, contemporary furniture designer, who are seeking a Finance Manager to join their collaborative and passionate team in Central London.

Working closely with the CEO and wider team, you will oversee the end-to-end financial operations and planning/analysis of the company. In addition to managing the day-to-day bookkeeping, you will work strategically to streamline & maximise financial efficiency across the business.

Please note this role requires 5 days in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis
• Manage sales ledger, purchase ledger, bank reconciliations, and credit control
• Submit regular financial reports to accountants in the UK and US
• Handle monthly payroll, VAT, and HMRC processes
• Generate quarterly management reports with detailed commentary
• Monitor company cash flow and manage budgeting
• Prepare for year-end financial close
• Collaborate with other departments to support decision-making that optimises time and cost efficiencies

Key Skills/Requirements:

• At least 3 years experience in a similar role
• Relevant qualifications preferred (ACA, ACCA)
• Proficient in financial planning
• Solid background in financial reporting, with a strong focus on accuracy
• Effective communication skills
• Experience using finance software such as Xero
