Front of House/Office Administrator

The Role:

A design-led architecture practice in south London is seeking an enthusiastic and personable Front of House/Office Administrator to join their established admin team.

This is a new position our client has created and offers the opportunity for growth and the ability to make the role your own. The role will involve meeting and greeting, office/meeting coordination and general administration for the studio.

The practice specialises in unique international projects and evolutionary design. This role is great for someone who’s previously had a front of house role and looking to administration skills into an ambitious and creative studio.

Key Responsibilities:  

  • First point of contact for incoming calls/queries
  • Email and file documents appropriately
  • Exceptional customer service
  • Welcome clients and visitors to the studio
  • Manage meeting room diaries, booking rooms and ensuring they are tidy and sorted before and after meetings
  • Arrange lunches for meetings and provide refreshments
  • Keep main areas tidy and presentable
  • Manage courier bookings and post-distribution/delivery
  • Arrange taxis/couriers for members of the studio
  • Assist with general administration when needed
  • Updating phone list and company database

Key Skills:  

  • At least 3 year’s experience with reception/front of house/administration in a busy environment
  • Down to earth and able to get on with everyone at all levels
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office  (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A proactive and positive approach to work
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • An interest and appreciation for the architecture and design industry
