Gallery Associate

The Role:

A highly successful and innovative, luxury furniture design studio are looking for a dynamic Gallery Associate to join their new London gallery.

Within this role you will be the first point for the gallery and provide tours for clients, sales admin support to Account Managers, and act as a brand ambassador.  The ideal candidate will take pride in providing a seamless luxury customer experience and have a genuine appreciation for contemporary design.

 Key Responsibilities:

• First point of contact for visitors/clients, providing a high standard of warmth and professionalism throughout welcoming guests and engagement
• Become a brand ambassador, learning the intricacies of the product and brand story
• Provide knowledgeable and engaging tours of the gallery and studio space for clients
• Inform Account Managers on new and visiting clients and assist with sales admin with providing pricing, quotes, lead times, digital catalogue information, etc.
• Assist colleagues with research or admin tasks to ensure success
• Manage general opening and closing duties
• Manage stock levels of samples, refreshments, cleaning and bathroom products, etc.

Key Skills:

• Previous showroom or sales assisting experience in a client-facing role
• Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail
• Confident in providing a luxury experience and act with the upmost professionalism
• Self-starter with a positive, resourceful and team focused approach to work
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate well at all levels
• Genuine appreciation and interest in contemporary design
• Well-presented and polished
