Intermediate Hospitality Interior/Architecture Designer

The Role:

We are working with a renowned and highly sought after multidisciplinary design firm who are at the forefront of the industry – they are looking for a skilled and creative Intermediate Interior Designer who has notable experience working within the hospitality sector.

This company is known for its blend of timeless tradition and innovative thinking when it comes to projects centered around hospitality. Their designs consistently showcase innovation, while stressing the significance of curiosity within a given space. Collaborative efforts are highly emphasized, and they’re currently seeking ambitious designers to become part of their distinguished team.

Within this role, you will assist the creative efforts of hospitality centered designs from concept through construction and play an active role in the firm’s project engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate and assist through the full scope of Hospitality projects from SD through CA
• Prepare design specifications including FF&E, space planning, lighting, and plan layouts.
• Create initial design sketches utilizing CAD software to generate 3D visualizations that depict the intended layout of floor plans, the outline of elevations, and the façade of the building.
• Create a project schedule and provide budget evaluations for design and construction expenditures.

Key Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in Interior Design
• Advanced skills in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, Rhino and other software programs.
• Strong demonstration of technical and creative skillset
• Strong interpersonal skills, capable of mentoring junior designers and participating harmoniously in projects alongside senior designers.
• Ability to multitask and work well in a fast paced environment
