Intermediate Hospitality Interior Designer (6-Month Contract)

About The Role:

Our client, an award-winning design firm, is seeking a talented Intermediate Hospitality Interior Designer to join their team on a 6-month contract. This exciting role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile hospitality projects, from initial concept through to completion.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of hospitality design, exceptional creativity, and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute innovative hospitality interior design concepts, transforming client visions into functional, visually appealing environments
• Collaborate with senior designers and project teams to ensure designs are aligned with client requirements and project goals
• Create detailed design drawings, mood boards, and FF&E packages, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all deliverables
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and consultants to oversee the selection and procurement of materials, finishes, and furnishings
• Contribute to all phases of the design process, including design development, space planning, material selection, and construction documentation
• Assist in resolving design and construction challenges, ensuring all project components align with the approved design and hospitality standards

Key Skills/Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field from an accredited institution
• 4+ years of post-graduate experience in hospitality interior design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating work on hospitality projects
• Proficiency in design software including AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong knowledge of FF&E, materials, and finishes, with experience managing and coordinating these elements in hospitality projects
