Internal Talent Acquisition Specialist (Architecture)

About The Role:

We are working with a highly desirable and creative international architecture practice, famed for their state-of-the-art projects across the globe. They are currently seeking a Talent Acquisitions Specialist to join their team on a permanent basis.

This newly created role could also be a great fit for someone with a recruitment background looking to transition into an in-house position. You will collaborate with teams across the wider business and play a key role in managing recruitment efforts from start to finish, including leading on early career programmes. The ideal candidate will have a creative background, exceptional communication skills, and a solid understanding of the architecture industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to attract and retain top talent, alongside the HR team
  • Source candidates through various methods and maintain a talent pipeline
  • Screen resumes, shortlist candidates, and coordinate interviews
  • Collaborate with leadership to address staffing needs and organisational goals
  • Ensure compliance with immigration regulations and advise on sponsorship requirements
  • Track recruitment metrics, provide updates, and suggest process improvements
  • Oversee applicant tracking system (HRIS) and coordinate enhancements
  • Manage apprenticeship, internship, and early careers programs (outreach and onboarding)
  • Support diversity initiatives and provide guidance to apprentices and interns
  • Drive internal career development and training initiatives to nurture talent

Key Skills/Requirements:

  • Strong expertise in recruitment processes and knowledge of early careers programs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of UK employment law (international knowledge is a plus)
  • Strong organisational and project management abilities
  • Skilled in relationship building, stakeholder management, and influencing at all levels
  • Adaptable to shifting priorities and challenges
  • Customer-focused with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
  • Detail-oriented with solid administrative and numerical skills
