Junior Architect – Commercial Projects

The Role:

This award-winning architecture practice has an impressive portfolio of innovative commercial, cultural and civic projects around the globe. They are currently growing their collaborative NYC team and are seeking a driven Junior Architect to assist in concept development and design production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support all design phases from SD-CA on commercial projects
• Develop and ideate design concepts during early phases of design
• Create 3D models and renderings at various levels of development
• Produce design documentation primarily utilizing BIM platforms
• Collaborate with project team members and report to senior architect
• Research architectural materials
• Create presentation graphics with the Adobe Suite to further communicate design intent

Key Skills:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
• Entry or Junior level Architecture experience, preferably with commercial project experience
• High proficiency in architectural design programs with a strong emphasis on BIM, primarily Revit and Rhino
• High proficiency with the Adobe Suite
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and SketchUp
• Nice to have but not required: Grasshopper, 3DS Max, Vray, Python
• Familiar with the technical specifications and application of architectural materials
• An interest in pursuing licensure
