Junior Interior Designer (High-End Residential)

About The Role:

A design-forward Los Angeles-based interior design studio, recognized for its elevated simplicity and exceptional attention to detail, is seeking a Junior Interior Designer to join its growing LA-Based team.

This is an ideal opportunity for an emerging designer with 1–3 years of experience who is eager to grow within a collaborative and creatively rigorous studio. You’ll work closely with senior leadership and design directors on bespoke private residences and custom furnishings from early design phases through execution.

The studio offers a beautifully curated work environment, meaningful mentorship, and the opportunity to gain hands-on experience on projects that have been featured in leading publications and set a benchmark for contemporary, high-end design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the design team across all project phases, from concept to installation
• Assist in sourcing FF&E, materials, and finishes in line with the studio’s refined aesthetic
• Create presentation materials, renderings, and mood boards
• Draft design and construction documentation using AutoCAD
• Aid in developing custom furniture, lighting, and millwork details
• Coordinate with vendors, fabricators, and consultants under the guidance of senior team members
• Maintain meticulous project documentation and schedules

Key Skills/Requirements:

• Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in a design studio with high-end residential projects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office
• Strong visual sensibility and attention to detail
• Familiarity with custom furniture design and material research
• Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and contribute in a fast-paced studio setting
• Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills
