Junior IT Support Analyst

The Role:

A large, established, international creative design studio is looking for a Junior IT Support Analyst person to join their team. This is an amazing opportunity to join a highly dynamic, creative environment and a business who are working on some of the most ground-breaking design projects in the world.

This is a key role for IT in the studio, as it will provide hands-on support for studio members and allow the senior IT team members to focus on core ICT Projects. The role is offering great progression and the goal will be for the successful candidate to develop themselves into a more Senior IT role within 12 months. The ideal person for this role will come with 1-2 years of on-site desktop/client side support and strong technical and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertaking small to medium-sized projects as instructed by the Head IT and IT Support Manager
  • Maintaining laptops and other desktop devices and hardware in the studio.
  • Proactively doing studio walks to maintain all meeting rooms and AV equipment, printers and plotters
  • Proactively doing studio checks to maintain hardware and software to high standards.
  • Assessing, maintaining, and tidying users-side cable management where required.
  • Retrospectively cataloguing and updating hardware and software inventories.
  • Working closely with the Digital Systems Operation team to offer an improved digital service.
  • Diagnosing and resolving 1st line technical issues.
  • Escalating unresolvable issues to the Digital Support Manager

Key Skills:

Advanced knowledge of:

  • PC hardware
  • Windows 10
  • MS Office & Outlook (incl. Office 365)
  • Active directory management
  • Microsoft Exchange (2016 and later)
  • 1-2 years on-site desktop/client side support
  • Basic networking principles
  • Experience with Audio Visual equipment and other conference room AV equipment.
  • Multi-function printers
  • Large format plotters
  • MS Teams, Zoom and other collaboration software.
  • IOS + Android mobile device support
  • ITIL V3/V4 foundation principles
