Junior Landscape Designer

About The Role:

A forward-thinking landscape practice is looking for a Junior Landscape Designer to join its growing Dallas studio. This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging designer who wants hands-on project exposure, strong mentorship, and a role within a studio known for thoughtful, design-led work.

You’ll collaborate closely with talented designers and studio leaders, contribute to concept and schematic design, and help produce high-quality graphics, models, and visualizations. The studio offers a supportive, collaborative culture with genuine opportunities to grow your skills and develop a strong portfolio of meaningful work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with concept development, diagrams, graphics, and presentation materials
  • Produce drawings, models, and visualizations for internal and client-facing use
  • Support early-stage documentation and coordination
  • Participate in design reviews, studio workshops, and collaborative sessions
  • Contribute to a positive, creative, design-focused studio environment

Key Skills/Requirements:

  • Degree in Landscape Architecture
  • Strong graphic, modelling, and presentation abilities
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Rhino or SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and/or BIM tools
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn across all stages of the design process
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
