A leading and highly acclaimed, international firm in the architecture and design industry known for their design-led and eclectic approach are seeking a motivated and team orientated Marketing and Communications Manager to join them on a maternity cover contract with the potential to extend the role to permanent. As a Marketing and Communications Manager, you will be stepping into a role that involves a broad range of responsibilities in PR, communications, website management, and project coordination. The ideal candidate will have mid to management level experience in PR and communications in a creative design firm, with a proven track record of managing press strategies, social media, website content, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare quotations on behalf of the company
  • Prepare interview responses, taking points from studio leaders
  • Manage press strategies and media liaison
  • Support with marketing presentations
  • Develop and manage the company website, including working with the wider team on new website
  • Create and prepare company newsletters
  • Involvement with the firm’s marketing and PR budget
  • Work with the wider marketing team to support with social media and content
  • Coordinating photography

Key Skills/Requirements:

  • Previous demonstrable experience in a similar role within the design/built environment
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Previous experience working with the press and industry leaders
  • Experience working across social media platforms
  • Experience organising and successfully running events
  • Strong graphics sensibility
  • Collaborative and friendly by nature
  • Approachable, and happy to be a ‘go to person’
  • A genuine interest in the design industry
