Mid-Weight Designer (Retrofit Projects)

About The Role:

We are working with a highly sought-after and dynamic company who are looking for a Mid-Weight Designer to join their team in their London office. Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to design and concept development and support the senior designers in developing and refining ideas
  • Work across multiple projects, managing specific project stages and ensuring all design elements align with the overall vision and client expectations
  • Foster a collaborative approach when working with other team members, senior designers, technical designers, and external consultants, to deliver successful project outcomes
  • Participate in client meetings, presenting ideas and gathering feedback to support the design development process
  • Stay informed on industry trends, new materials, and innovative design strategies to contribute fresh ideas to the team
  • Produce detailed drawings, presentations, and documentation to support project deliverables

Key Skills:

  • An adaptable and proactive attitude, with a passion for continuous learning and professional growth
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field
  • A strong portfolio showcasing creative and high-quality project work, ideally within commercial, office, or retrofit sectors
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate design ideas to both clients and team members
  • Highly organised, with strong time management skills to handle multiple project tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite is essential; experience in Revit is desirable but not mandatory
  • An adaptable and proactive attitude, with a passion for continuous learning and professional growth
