Midweight FF&E Designer

Key Responsibilities:

One of London’s friendliest studios, who offer a great company culture and a real sense of pride in everything they deliver, are looking for an exceptional midweight FF&E Designer to join the team.

With a portfolio of work which covers F&B to retail and leisure to hospitality, this is a wonderful opportunity for an FF&E designer who enjoys variety and working on large scale projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working within time deadlines and budgets
  • Attending project/client meetings for new project briefs
  • Where necessary, procure FF&E products
  • Mentor and support junior FF&E designers
  • Attend project meetings and give input on developing concepts, suggest suitable finishes and fabrics where applicable
  • Produce FF&E presentations and packs, guided by senior FF&E designers
  • Nurture relationships with suppliers and introduce new contacts
  • Keep up-to-date with new advancements within FF&E, styles and trends

Key Skills:

  • Create conceptual designs using timelessly beautiful colours and texture
  • Some skills in the Adobe Suite and ideally EstiMac or EstiPC
  • Excellent knowledge of FF&E selection (materials, finishes, detailing and scheduling)
  • Some experience using CAD software
  • Self-confident and receptive to constructive feedback
  • Ability to manage time well
  • Demonstrable experience of producing FF&E specifications with costings, material, finishes and sanitary schedules
  • Excellent communications skills including verbal, written and visual
  • Exceptional attention to detail
