Midweight Interior Designer/3D Visualiser (Freelance)

About The Role:

We’ve partnered with a highly desirable and innovative luxury experiential design studio who are looking for a freelance Midweight Interior Designer / 3D Visualiser with Vectorworks to join their London team on a project basis (with the potential to extend).

The ideal candidate will bring a strong spatial sensibility and a refined design eye to support the development, visualisation and documentation of a high-end project. You will be working closely with a talented and collaborative team, including direct collaboration with the Lead Designer and Design Director, contributing to conceptual design and helping bring sophisticated, luxury narratives to life through visual storytelling.

With a hybrid working setup on offer, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced designer to work on an international luxury project and further build a standout portfolio in the high-end design space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Lead Designer and Design Director to shape high-end experiential concepts with a luxury focus
• Create detailed 2D/3D drawings and presentations in Vectorworks, ensuring design accuracy throughout
• Translate storytelling and FF&E sensitivity into immersive, luxury spatial experiences
• Rapidly iterate concepts using tools like Cinema4D, Twinmotion, or Unreal to produce compelling visuals
• Ensure clear communication with internal teams, consultants, and fabricators for seamless execution
• Balance remote and in-office tasks efficiently, meeting deadlines and contributing to team goals
• Assist in delivering international projects that reflect luxury brand values and experiential vision

Key Skills/Requirements:

• Experience in experiential/interior design
• Proficient in Vectorworks (2D/3D workflows)
• Familiarity with Cinema4D, Twinmotion, Unreal a major plus
• Ability to iterate and communicate concepts fast
• Understands spatial storytelling and FF&E sensitivity
• Strong verbal, written and presentational skills
