Practice Administrator

The Role:

We are working with a multidisciplinary architecture practice who are looking for an experienced Practice Administrator to support their growing team in their daily financial and office administration.

The ideal candidate should be a resourceful and supportive individual who will work alongside the practice partners and senior management team overseeing a wide spectrum of office duties and ensuring the smooth running of the studio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to a positive studio culture, being the go to person in the office for all administration support
  • Liaise with external accountants/payroll providers and manage all book keeping administration
  • Set up financial reports, analysis and planning
  • Plan Senior Management Team meetings and other team events/meetings
  • Act as the first point of contact for guests and visitors, managing all incoming calls and post
  • Manage stationery, cleaning and other office supplies while liaising with contractors and consultants
  • Maintain up-to-date information on office systems, policies and procedures
  • Assist with setup and maintenance of hardware, software and systems while liaising with external IT support and fixing basic IT issues

Key Skills:

  • Previous experience in a similar role with experience using CMAP and Xero, or similar
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and Adobe In Design desired
  • Highly organised with prioritising and multi-tasking skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development
  • Educated to degree level or qualification in relevant creative or business subject
