Project Architect (Commercial Experience)

The Role:

A successful and friendly, mid-sized architecture practice is seeking a Project Architect (with must have commercial experience) to join their social and collaborative team. Working closely with the Project Associate, the ideal candidate would be responsible for delivering and coordinating large scale commercial projects whilst managing a team. The ideal candidate will have experience in client facing roles and would be the main contact for the projects when liaising with consultants from concept through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Previous experience in office and large-scale commercial projects is essential in stages 4-5 with Middle East experience being preferable
• Closely working with the Project Associate when delivering large scale commercial and office projects through early design stages to technical and construction tender packages.
• Confidentially communicating design intentions when leading the internal team and liaising with external clients, stakeholders and suppliers
• Ability to present ideas confidentially when developing designs throughout drawing and digital communication.

Key Skills:

• Good knowledge of MicroStation and Adobe Creative Suite is essential with Revit experience is advantageous
• Specific knowledge working directly within a 3D BIM environment
• Confident understanding of the planning process within the UK
• Knowledge of current UK building regulations
