Project Architect (Transportation)

About the Role:

A boundary-pushing architecture and urban design studio is looking for a Project Architect to join their infrastructure and mobility team. With a focus on transit architecture and public infrastructure, this group works on some of the city’s most dynamic transportation projects, from next-gen mobility hubs to resilient civic infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and coordination on transit and infrastructure projects
• Collaborate across disciplines including engineering, urban planning, and landscape
• Develop detailed construction documentation and specifications
• Work closely with public agencies, utilities, and civic stakeholders
• Ensure technical excellence, compliance, and long-term usability
• Mentor junior architects and contribute to knowledge-sharing across the studio

Key Skills/Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture
• 7–10 years of experience, ideally in civic or transportation projects
• Strong technical and documentation skills with Revit
• Experience coordinating with engineers and managing public-sector deliverables
• Familiarity with infrastructure codes, standards, and systems
• Strong conceptual thinking paired with real-world problem-solving
