Project Manager (Wayfinding)
About The Role:
Our client, a globally recognized design consultancy specialising in wayfinding and strategic planning is looking for a confident and proactive Project Manager to join their close-knit team in their San Francisco office.
With multiple international offices and an impressive roster of high-profile client this is a perfect opportunity for someone to make an impact within a successful design firm!
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the successful delivery of a large-scale transit projects on the West Coast. You will uphold exceptional standards of client management while serving as a key point of contact to foster strong stakeholder relationships. Your responsibilities will include providing insightful reports on the commercial and financial aspects of the project, as well as supporting business development initiatives alongside company leadership. To thrive in this position, you will need to be personable and confident in client interactions, possess meticulous attention to detail, and demonstrate a strong commercial acumen with a thorough understanding of the consultancy business model.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project work plans
- Collaborate with team leads and subcontractors to track progress, assess risks, and allocate resources
- Gather data and report updates to management and clients
- Generate budget and resource forecasts and prepare monthly project invoices
- Attend project leadership meetings
- Contribute to business development strategies and aid in bid preparation
- Support team management and facilitate project communications
Key Skills/Requirements:
- Previous experience managing multi-stage, multidisciplinary projects
- Degree in engineering, architecture, planning, or a related field preferred
- Certified in Project Management or actively pursuing certification
- Confident coordinating and clearly communicating tasks and team outputs
- Highly organized, adaptable to time zones and shifting priorities, and able to identify project risks
- Positive team player who motivates excellence and remains flexible
- Confident communicator with solid presentation and report-writing skills
- Interest in information design, with creative industry experience preferred
- Experience in business development, grant writing, or bid preparation is beneficial
