Project & Operations Manager
The Role:
We are working with an independent, leading architecture school in London that is seeking a talented Project & Operations Manager to lead the Operations Management Group and be the central figure in the admin processes.
The ideal candidate would be highly organized and have a proven track record of managing projects and a studio space, as well as working with teams, seeking feedback, and looking for ways to improve and grow.

Key Responsibilities:
- Devise and deliver a process and project management method
- Ensure all core processes and projects are conducted to the highest standards
- Support the Chief Executive/Head of School in delivering special projects
- Manage relationships with all external suppliers, including catering, printing and office supplies
- Coordinate internal events
- Manage the virtual studio alongside the physical studio space and student hub
- Arrange appropriate insurance for the school
- Maintain compliance with Health & Safety, risk assessments, and GDPR
- Act as the first point of contact, handling telephone, email, and face-to-face enquiries
- Manage students’ onboarding while ensuring the school’s timetables are up-to-date
- Provide secretarial support to team members
Key Skills:
- Experience in project management and knowledge of design practice/education, digital products, and services
- Experience working in a higher or further education setting
- Experience in practice/studio management, team building and knowledge of institutional governance
- Clear and confident verbal and written communication skills
- Developed digital skills and business transformation
- Appreciation of architecture, design, or other creative disciplines and professions
