Project/Studio Manager

The Role:

We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a dynamic Project/Studio Manager to join and run an international, cutting-edge visualisation studio in East London. Our client is a leader in their field, they are highly innovative and recognised globally for their work.

This is an integral position for the studio and will work closely with the key stakeholder and wider team to ensure the studio and its projects run productively and efficiently, ensuring that the company get the best out of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the successful day to day running of the studio
  • Resource and workflow management and ensure deadlines are met
  • Ensure briefs are accurate in scope, detail and achievable within the deadline/budget
  • Ensure the correct creatives are assigned to the right project based on their strengths
  • Daily, weekly and long-term task scheduling
  • Educate key stakeholders in best practice for briefing
  • Present project meetings, kick-offs, weekly updates and communicate/coordinate across the wider team
  • Bring forward ideas and improvements for office systems and processes
  • Manage studio budgets
  • Manage our in-house training programmes
  • Empower the wider business to use the tools and systems available
  • Ad-hoc administrative duties

Key Skills

  • 3+ years managing a studio and projects in a creative agency or in-house team
  • Excellent studio planning techniques and strong systems and processes skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organization skills, strong attention to detail and consultative in your approach
  • Able to multitask and manage deadlines whilst remaining calm and controlled
  • Experience briefing creative teams
  • A proven and logical problem-solver
  • Inclusive and collaborative
