Proposals Manager

The Role:

Our client, a large Multidisciplinary architecture and interior design practice in London, are currently looking to hire a Proposals Manager. The role is sitting within a team of 3 Proposals Managers, all reporting to the Head of Business Development.

The purpose of this role is to undertake tasks related to new business and to contribute to the writing and editing of texts for bid submissions and pitches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content production of PQQs, tenders/RFPs and interview presentation material
  • Coordinate responses in line with house procedures and quality expectations
  • Maintain the library of submission documents, standard texts, practice and project information as well as managing CVs
  • Liaise with international affiliate partners where required
  • Assist in tracking and following up on tendering activities
  • Prepare meeting agendas and minutes in relation to new bids

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within architecture / interior design
  • An understanding of the design process and the general functions within a consultancy environment
  • Degree-educated, preferably with a strong communications/language element
  • Excellent copywriting skills: ability to produce high-quality copy in excellent written English; spelling, grammar & syntax
  • Computer literate: advanced skills in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) is an advantage
  • Self-motivated team player
