Purchase Ledger Assistant (Artistic Design Company)
About The Role:
A recognised artistic design company who are known for their innovative projects in the theatre and exhibition space are looking for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their friendly and creative team in London.
You will join a small accounts team where you will be responsible for the accounts payable side of the company financials including reviewing and paying expenses to suppliers, reviewing and posting credit card transactions, processing freelance timesheets and inputting data on the CRM to track budgets. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of bookkeeping and will enjoy working within a small finance team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Entering purchase invoices and credit notes onto the system
- Accurately coding company expenses
- Paying suppliers
- Monitor credit card funds and reviewing all transactions
- Collect and update timesheets for freelance and contracted staff
- Work with the Finance Controller on ad-hoc finance duties
Key Skills/Requirements:
- 2-3 years experience within a purchase ledger role ideally from a creative background
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong time management skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience using Sage or similar
