Real Time Artist (Game & VR)

The Role:

 A global, well-respected architecture practice, who specialise in high end retail are seeking a Real Time Artist (VR) to join them at their creative and friendly studio in west London.

The ideal candidate will have the chance to progress the company further into the digital services sphere by aiding in the development of 3D and immersive design, working alongside an array of creatives to innovatively build the company’s vision. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who takes initiative, prioritises the small details and is confident in their own creativity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all areas of the animation process
  • Fulfil animation projects to the company’s vision using Maya or 3D Max and integrating into Unreal Engine
  • Maintain and oversee rigs when in use
  • Collaboratively guide the team during the regular critiques to both give and receive constructive feedback
  • Work closely with the team to refine and develop all animation projects

Key Skills:

  • Previous industry experience working in 3D animation
  • Excellent knowledge of Maya, C4D and Unreal Engine software
  • Familiar with physical and digital equipment i.e. rigs, props, layering, blending
  • Ability to take initiative and work both independently and within the creative team
  • Self-motivated and a clear communicator
