Recruitment Specialist

The Role:

We are looking for a Recruitment Specialist to join our Creative Support team at The Crowd in London.

We are a successful staffing agency that has carved a name for ourselves, recruiting within architecture, design and the creative industry. Originating in London and recently, we have opened our New York office. We work with leading industry names and have seen exciting success, and we are now on the lookout for a motivated individual to join our growing team!

This position will work closely with our Recruitment Lead in London to develop the brand further in the UK market and be a valued and integral part of the wider group. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to develop and grow as a recruitment specialist in the creative industry whilst making a sincere contribution to a supportive team. You will have the scope to build and personalize the role with the help and support from the group and will have the ability to make major contributions to the business.

This role could suit either an experienced recruitment consultant or someone with a background in architecture, design or sales who is interested in the exciting realm of recruitment within London!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the whole recruitment process from interview to offer, including sourcing candidates and interviewing, through to post-placement care and beyond
  • Working closely with our current clients in addition to bringing in new contacts/clients, developing our candidate pool and building a presence within the industry
  • Sourcing and interviewing candidates
  • Offering CV, interview and general career guidance to candidates
  • Writing job adverts
  • Negotiating salary packages and presenting suitable candidates to clients
  • Identifying and developing client/business relationships, including short-term and long-term business development
  • Negotiating terms of business with clients
  • Providing a consultative and collaborative all-round service
  • Attending client meetings and industry events where required
  • Logging information on the internal CRM and keeping the database up to date at all times
  • Maintain an active LinkedIn presence
  • Act as a brand ambassador for The Crowd at all times

Key Skills:

  • Knowledge and interest in architecture/design/the creative industry (advantageous but not required)
  • Previous sales or recruitment experience
  • Confident, friendly, and articulate in your approach
  • Service driven and operates with integrity.
  • Someone who enjoys a people-facing role with the ability to communicate well in writing, on the phone and in-person
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize your workload – although this role is well integrated into a team and very collaborative, it is largely autonomous in its day-to-day tasks
  • A team player to contribute and receive support and encouragement from the larger group
