Sales Manager
The Role:
We are working with an established and growing, luxury furniture design company who are looking for a highly motivated and driven Sales and Showroom Manager to join their friendly and supportive team in Manhattan.
Working out of their Tribeca location, you will be responsible for managing the current showroom and it’s team, whilst working alongside the wider team to build and nurture client relationships, in addition to proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to achieve company sales goals. The ideal person will have knowledge and a genuine passion for the luxury design market and will have an entrepreneurial and customer centric mindset, with a warm and welcoming nature. This role is a key role within the business and is critical to the growth of the brand.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the showroom and its team, ensuring a high-level service is provided to all clients prospective clients
- Oversee the maintenance, appearance and operations of the showroom, ensuring it’s impeccably kept and maintained at all times
- Understand the products, materials and pricing of all products including client customization
- Act as an advocate for both the client and company throughout the order life cycle, proactively managing expectations and addressing potential issues
- Identify pain points in the sales cycle and make recommendations for improvement
- Work closely with the current team to nurture current client relationships whilst driving sales in untapped markets
- Identify new sales opportunities for the brand
- Openly share ideas and knowledge across the team
- Ensure client proposal are produced in a timely and accurate manner
- Work with the MD and Partners on company strategies and new product launches
- Produce data , KPIs and reporting for company sales
- Collaborate with the Sales Associates to regularly update the showroom with relevant products, samples, collateral, etc
- Organize internal and external events, and presentations for clients and potential clients
- Communicate with the sales team to coordinate space usage for client visits, planned events, and other activities, ensuring the showroom is always in top form
- Work with HR ensuring staff reviews, onboarding and policies and procedures are in place and being followed for the showroom
Key Skills:
- Previous experience within the luxury design market in a sales management position
- A confident idea sharer
- Comfortable providing a luxury experience with a customer focused mindset and a warm, approachable demeanor
- Dependable and adaptable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail
- A natural relationship builder, preferably with experience growing a sales book
- Self-starter and creative thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Thrive in a collaborative setting and understand the importance of team effort to achieve company goals
