About The Role:

We are working with a highly respected, award-winning design practice that is seeking a talented Senior Architect to join their growing team in New York City. The studio is known for its thoughtful, context-driven work across cultural, civic, institutional, and high-end residential sectors.

This is a pivotal role for someone who enjoys taking ownership of projects, mentoring junior staff, and leading with both creativity and technical strength. You’ll be involved from concept through completion, with a focus on design integrity, team leadership, and seamless project delivery.

The practice offers hybrid / flexible working arrangements, strong internal support, and a collaborative culture that promotes long-term career growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage complex projects from early concept through construction administration
• Coordinate across teams and disciplines to ensure quality, compliance, and design intent
• Participate in scheduling, budgeting, and staffing plans for multiple projects
• Provide mentorship and leadership to junior architects and designers
• Liaise directly with clients, consultants, and contractors throughout all project phases

Key Skills/Requirements:

• 10+ years of professional experience, ideally within civic, cultural, or high-density residential projects
• Proven experience leading teams and delivering projects across all phases
• Strong Revit and AutoCAD proficiency in a BIM environment
• Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
• Licensed architect (preferred but not essential)
