Senior Architect (Luxury Residential Design)

The Role:

Our client, an acclaimed New York-based design and architecture firm, is currently searching for a dedicated Senior Architect to join their luxury residential team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in completing high-end multi-family or single-family projects.

Within this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing architectural designs for residential projects across all phases. Reporting to the studio leads, you will also play a vital role in mentoring and guiding intermediate and junior designers. Additionally, you will collaborate with the interior design and project management teams to bring projects to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce high-end residential projects across all design phases.
• Oversee clients’ needs and user requirements to ensure design intent is carried out.
• Collaborate with clients and internal team members to develop initial design narratives.
• Contribute to project management duties as needed.
• Create and deliver client presentations.
• Provide mentorship and training to junior project team members.

Key Skills:

• Extensive previous experience working within high-end architectural residential design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe CS, SketchUp, and Enscape
• Knowledge of 3DS Max would be beneficial
• Excellent team collaboration skills
• Passionate and self-motivated approach
