Senior Architect (Urban – Middle East Experience)

About The Role:

Our globally renowned, world leading client is looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Architect with urban design/masterplanning experience to join their collaborative team based in South West London.

Working within a interdisciplinary team of architects, landscape designers and a talented team of urban designers, you would play a pivotal role within the practice creating unforgettable urban realms. Through prior experience working on large- scale projects in the Middle East, you would be crucial to creating innovative, diverse and global projects when integrating architectural initiatives into urban landscapes.  The ideal candidate would have a creative flair, strong technical understanding and delivery skills as well as proficiency in Rhino and/or Revit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand complex and large-scale master planning projects
• Communicate narratives and design processes to the wider team, external consultants and clients
• Through prior experience with Middle East projects, you would have a good understanding of the climate and culture to ensure a positive and future-proof design
• Lead the junior members of the team when developing technical strategies and drawing packages
• Work through detail design stages and technical delivery
• Coordination the project with the external consultants, suppliers and clients

Key Skills/Requirements:

• Previous experience on large scale Middle East experience
• Proficiency in Rhino and/or Revit
• Ability to use Grasshopper would be beneficial
• Strong technical ability and delivery
• Great communication and presentation, skills both written and spoken in English is essential
