Senior Business Development Associate

The Role:

A remarkable and rare opportunity with our client, an innovative creative design studio known for pushing the boundaries of live experiences and public art globally are looking for an ambitious and seasoned Senior Business Development Associate to join their friendly and talented team. The purpose of the role is to help grow their market share within the Middle East and USA with their clients in the architecture and developer space.

Our client have carved out a niche globally with their impressive projects, and have put themselves firmly on the map with leading and well-known brands, transforming spaces with cutting edge, artistic and immersive designs. Working collaboratively with the wider BD team, the role will focus on new business efforts with architects and developers whilst nurturing existing relationships. The focus will be to facilitate growth and market share, specifically targeting the Middle East and USA markets, identifying new opportunities for the design team to create compelling projects. In this role you will have the opportunity to travel to exciting oversees destinations to attend industry/networking events and to visit prospective and existing clients to pitch new ideas, whilst acting as an ambassador for the brand.

This role is ideal for a passionate, sociable and experienced business development professional who possesses a deep understanding of the industry and a contact book in the architecture/developer space. This role is open to applicants across the UK, however with a base in West Yorkshire you would be required to travel there once or twice a month to form bonds with the rest of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with clients across the built environment sector in the USA and the Middle East
  • Work closely with the senior BD team to identify new leads
  • Attend industry networking events
  • Secure in person and online meetings
  • Pitching new project ideas to clients
  • Work on briefs, and new ideas with clients, presenting them back to the design team for production
  • Follow industry trends and market intel, relaying them back to the team
  • Support the wider team with growth and development of the brand

Key Skills:

  • Strong network within the architecture/developer/real estate sector
  • 5+ years experience in a business development position
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisation skills
  • Ability to think strategically
  • Self motivated and proactive
  • Confident working and speaking with HNWIs
  • A genuine passion for the arts and design
