Senior Designer (Luxury Residential)

About The Role:

A high-profile interior design studio that are celebrated on a global scale for their inspirational and luxurious projects are looking for an outgoing and forward thinking Senior Designer with high-end residential experience to join their team.

Collaborating with a skilled team of designers, 3D visualisers, and the broader design studio team, you will oversee the design and coordination of large luxury residential projects. As a seasoned Senior Designer with experience of managing luxury residential projects simultaneously, you would provide the creative direction and project management when navigating early design concepts and project delivery within the residential team. The ideal candidate would be a personable and a diplomatic leader, capable of maintaining a positive demeanour while communicating briefs to clients and leading project team consultants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the development of design concepts and the production of design information to the highest standard from concept to completion
• Drive the development of multiple large-scale luxury residential projects, ensuring that standards are upheld to the highest calibre
• Provide creative vision and direction for the studio’s residential sector projects
• Lead the refinement of residential design details through comprehensive material research and technical understanding
• Create visual material through mood images to effectively communicate specific design direction to clients
• Effectively communicate design briefs and intentions to the clients, external consultants and internal team through verbal, written and visual presentations
• Provide mentorship to the junior team members, fostering their professional growth and well-being within studio

Key Skills/Requirements:

• Bachelors or master’s in interior design, interior architecture or architecture
• Minimum 5 years’ experience within high-end residential/large-scale luxury residential projects
• Prior experience working on projects from early design stages to technical delivery and construction phases
• Showcase a well-presented portfolio with prior project experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office is essential
