Senior Interior Designer (High-End Residential & Boutique Commercial Projects)

A globally recognized interior design studio, known for its refined and layered approach to design that bridges classical architecture with contemporary elegance, is seeking a talented Senior Interior Designer to join its Los Angeles-based team.

This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned designer with a strong command of project leadership, conceptual design, and FF&E detailing, who thrives in a collaborative studio environment. You’ll take the lead on projects from concept through completion, working closely with architects, consultants, artisans, and clients to bring thoughtfully crafted spaces to life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all design phases of luxury residential and boutique commercial projects, from initial concept through construction administration
• Develop comprehensive technical drawings and design packages, including space planning, millwork details, lighting layouts, and specifications
• Oversee FF&E sourcing, custom furniture design, and material palettes with a refined and elevated design sensibility
• Produce compelling design presentations, including hand sketches, 3D studies, and mood boards
• Coordinate with external consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project delivery aligned with the studio’s design ethos
• Present ideas and project updates clearly and confidently to clients and internal stakeholders
• Provide mentorship to junior team members, fostering creativity and collaboration within the studio

Key Skills/Requirements:

• 7+ years of professional interior design experience, with a focus on luxury residential and high-end commercial environments
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong design vision paired with technical fluency and execution skills
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Proven experience managing multiple complex projects from concept through installation
• Deep understanding of finishes, detailing, and custom furnishings
• Adept at working cross-functionally with architects, consultants, and tradespeople
